Hungarian Folklore performance

Hungarian State Folk Ensemble (Budai Vigado) the Danube Folk Ensemble and Rajko Folk Ensemble (at the Danube Palace) are three of the best Hungarian folk ensembles with the longest tradition. Their choreographies are based on authentic dances. Through the performed dances you can get a broad view of the music, dance and costume heritage of Hungary and the Hungarian inhabited areas

Whole evening program. Starts with the Hungarian folk dance performance and continues with the Dinner & Cruise program. From the place of the performance our hostesses will accompany you to the ship, and after the 1,5 hour long program they can call you a taxi.

Danube Symphony Concert with Cimbalom Show

The Danube Symphony Orchestra was formed in 1961. The Orchestra consists of 60 professional musicians. They perform the most famous classical melodies combined with a typical Hungarian instrument - cimbalom (Hummer dulciner).

New Year's Chamber concert

The program of the concert and the orchestra is expanded with a world-known typical Hungarian instrument Cimbalom (concert hammer dulcimer). This instrument is played primarily with beaters. It is equipped with a heavy frame for more dynamic power and added many strings courses for an extended range of sounds and a damper pedal to allow more dynamic control.

New Year's Chamber Concert + Dinner & Cruise

After our Danube Chamber Orchestra we would like to invite you to see the Budapest in the romantic atmosphere of a dinner by candlelight surrounded by the friendly lights of the Danube capital. After the end of the performance in the Duna Palota (Danube Palace), our hostesses will accompany you to the Ship.

Christmas Chamber Concert

Spend the Christmas evening with our chamber concert organised in the beautiful neobaroque theatre of the Danube Palace. You can listen to a special programme which was compiled just for this evening by the Danube Chamber Orchestra, including well-known and popular works of famous composers.

Organ Concert in the Basilica

The program of the concert was adapted by Miklos Teleki. Together with Virágh András, they belong to some of the best organ artists in Hungary. The arias of the program are performed by Kolos Kováts, one of the most famous concert an oratorio singer in Hungary.
